This is a day out for children aged roughly four to twelve, and with them it works well. Without kids I wouldn't drive up north for it. Check the opening days before you go, because at the end of September 2026 the museum only opened at weekends, and if you've bought the LuxembourgPass, this is a good place to use it.

Before you go

What I would keep in mind

  1. 01 To save money

    Free with the LuxembourgPass

The pass gets you into the interactive museum free. If you already have one for other sights, it covers the senses hall here.

  2. 02 My tip

The museum opens at weekends in autumn

In the week of 30 September 2026, visitluxembourg listed the museum as open Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 to 17:00, and closed Monday to Friday. The garden opens daily until 17:00.

  3. 03 Most beautiful

    A 15,000 m² maize maze

In summer the park plants a 15,000 m² maize maze, with tickets on their own or combined with the museum. The 2026 maze ran from 21 July to 27 September.

  4. 04 My tip

    Step-free, with baby changing

The whole site is step-free with a maximum slope of 8%, an accessible toilet and a changing table. Getting round with a pushchair is no trouble.

    Luxembourg with kids

Sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. That short list is the whole idea behind Park Sënnesräich, a leisure centre at Lullange, one of the 27 villages of Wincrange in the north of the country. It isn’t a theme park and has no ambition to be one. Think of it as a place for children to touch, test, get things wrong and run about, and for the grown-ups to watch from a terrace.

What children actually do there

visitluxembourg’s listing breaks it into three parts. First comes the barefoot trail, where you walk with your eyes shut and try to work out what’s underfoot. Then there’s the hall of the five senses, an interactive museum that shows children how their senses work in a way that’s playful but accurate. Finally there’s the outdoor area, with a big garden, a huge AirTramp air cushion, a playground and a maze.

While the little ones let off steam outside, adults can settle on the terrace of Bistro Sënnesräich, which looks straight over the outdoor area. That, for me, is what makes it easy going with children of different ages.

What does it cost?

The outdoor garden is free to enter all year, according to the park’s website. For the interactive museum, in September 2026 visitluxembourg listed €9 for adults and for young people aged 13 to 17, €7 for ages 4 to 12 and free entry up to age 3. Adults coming along as carers pay €6.75, and there are reduced prices for visitors with a disability. The bonus is the LuxembourgPass, which gives free entry to the interactive museum, so if yours is active that day, I’d use it here.

In summer the park also plants a 15,000 m² maize maze, alone or combined with the museum, and it sells guided visits. People in Luxembourg search for it as “maislabyrinth”, and in 2026 it ran from 21 July to 27 September.

To sleep close to everything, search places to stay in Clervaux on Booking.com and filter by area before price.

Check the opening days first

This is the catch. For the week starting 30 September 2026 the listing showed the museum open only on Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 to 17:00, with Monday to Friday closed. The garden, on the other hand, opens every day until 17:00, according to the park’s website. The listing warns that hours change, so I’d check the day before, especially if you’re coming up from the capital, which is a fair way off.

Genuinely accessible

It’s one of the best-equipped places in the country for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Every area is step-free, with lifts and a maximum slope of 8%, and there’s a disabled parking bay, an accessible toilet and a changing table. Information is mostly written, in three languages.

To sleep close to everything, search places to stay in Clervaux on Expedia and filter by area before price.

Making a weekend of the north

Lullange is in the canton of Clervaux, right in the Éislek, and I’d stay in Clervaux to pair it with the castle and the rest of the north. For another low-cost outing with children, the Wasserbillig aquarium, at the far end of the country, charges €3 and is also on the pass. More ideas are in Luxembourg with kids.

If you are short on time, see the best tours in Park Sënnesräich and pick one that fits your day.

Where the bus does not go, a car does: compare car hire in Luxembourg before you arrive rather than at the desk.

If you still need a way in, check the best ticket deals to Luxembourg from where you are.
