Vrissiana, a mid-sized four-star in Protaras
Vrissiana is a four-star hotel with 138 rooms and 276 beds at 33 Protaras Avenue, Paralimni, according to the official list of August 2026, which gives its rating as indicative. It belongs to the Tsokkos group and is about 800 metres from Fig Tree Bay.

- A 138-room four-star in Protaras.
- Tsokkos group, about 800 m from Fig Tree Bay.
- No readable source for its facilities; confirm them.
In size, it's one of the more manageable four-stars in central Protaras. As its website won't let you read the facilities, I'd ask about pools, board and the real walk to the sand before booking.

Facilities to confirm
The hotel's page on the Tsokkos website loads through a booking engine and shows no facilities. Ask in writing what your board basis includes.

What I would book
Protaras Avenue is the backbone of the hotel strip, and Vrissiana sits halfway along it, close to the best-known beach. It’s a mid-sized Tsokkos group hotel with little readable public information, so I keep what I’ve checked apart from what you should ask. The full picture is in Protaras hotels.
On the Paralimni register
The official Paralimni list, dated 4 August, has it under the name Vrissiana Beach. It gives four stars, 138 rooms and 276 beds at 33 Protaras Avenue. The letter P means its rating is still only a guide. For context, that same list includes 38 hotels in Paralimni, 15 of them four-stars, so it belongs to the largest group in the area.
The Tsokkos group
The Tsokkos family runs a chain that its website presents as the island’s largest, with hotels and apartments in Protaras, Ayia Napa and Paphos. On this same coast there’s also the Anastasia Beach hotel, and in Paphos the King Evelthon hotel, its big resort with water slides.
What I could read are the rules the group applies across all its properties. Rooms are handed over at two in the afternoon and must be vacated at noon; arriving earlier depends on occupancy, and a later departure is charged. Half board covers buffet breakfast and dinner, with the option to swap dinner for lunch by telling reception. On all-inclusive you also get lunch, snacks, ice cream and local drinks without limit. If you book on its website, travel insurance isn’t included.
Once your dates are set, check which hotels are still free in Vrissiana Beach Hotel Protaras before prices climb.
What’s missing
Vrissiana’s page on tsokkos.com depends on a booking engine and, without it, shows no pools, restaurants or activities. I’d rather not fill that gap with guesses. I also don’t know whether it opens all year or only in season, something worth checking if you’re coming in winter. Before paying, I’d ask whether the room has a sea view, which board is available on your dates and how long the walk to the sand takes.
Neighbours
According to OpenStreetMap, it shares a block with Sunrise Pearl, and about six hundred metres away, right on Fig Tree Bay, is the Capo Bay hotel. From the same group, a little further north, is the Tsokkos Gardens hotel, a three-star. If you want something bigger with more published facilities, compare it with the Crystal Springs hotel.
If you would rather have a local show you round, book a guided tour in Protaras and choose by the reviews.
My view
For location, I think it’s a handy base for getting around central Protaras on foot and reaching the beach without a car. Its weak point is information, and until the hotel confirms its facilities, I’d rank it behind neighbours that publish them in detail. If you want to ring the changes, there are the other Protaras beaches.
A car frees you from timetables: search car hire in Protaras on DiscoverCars and compare companies.
