Sunrise Pearl, pools and restaurants near Fig Tree Bay
Sunrise Pearl is a Sunrise group hotel in Protaras, about 750 metres from Fig Tree Bay. Its website lists five pools, eight restaurants and one of the largest spas in the area, but it doesn't appear under that name on the official accommodation list of August 2026, so I don't give it a rating.

- A Sunrise group hotel near Fig Tree Bay.
- Five pools, eight restaurants and a large spa.
- Not listed under that name on the official list.
I'd look at it if I wanted plenty of restaurants without leaving the hotel and pools to spare. Before booking, I'd ask in writing for its official rating, because it doesn't appear on the public list under this name.

Six speciality restaurants
Besides the Waterfall buffet, the website lists seafood, pan-Asian, Italian, Greek and Brazilian restaurants and an American grill.

Ask about the rating
The official list of August 2026 has no Sunrise Pearl. Before paying, ask the hotel for its licence number and rating.

What I would book
In central Protaras, a stroll from Fig Tree Bay, the Sunrise group runs several hotels almost side by side. Sunrise Pearl is the one sold on what’s inside, with pools, restaurants and a spa so you needn’t leave the grounds. I cover what it publishes and the gap left by the official list. To compare it with its neighbours, see Protaras hotels.
A hotel missing under its own name
I looked for Sunrise Pearl on the Paralimni accommodation list of 4 August and it isn’t there. The list does include other hotels from the group, Sunrise Beach, a five-star, plus Emerald, Gardens, Jade and Oasis. It may be registered under another name, but I can’t check that, so I don’t give it stars. If the rating matters to you, ask for it in writing before you pay.
Pools and spa
According to its website, it has four outdoor pools and one indoor, a gym, sports facilities and water activities on the beach. The hotel claims one of the largest spas in Protaras. For children there’s a splash pool, a kids’ club, supervised play areas, daily activities and their own menus.
Once your dates are set, check which hotels are still free in Sunrise Pearl Hotel Protaras before prices climb.
Eight places to eat
Food is what sets it apart most. The international buffet is called Waterfall and, under what the group calls Dine Out, there are six speciality restaurants, namely Fishbone for seafood, Lemongrass pan-Asian, Marcello’s Italian, an American grill, a Greek restaurant and the Brazilian Braseiro. On top of that there’s Mistral by the pool and several bars.
Rooms
The website lists 29-square-metre Deluxe rooms for two, 35-metre junior suites, a 54-metre one-bedroom suite with sea views and another of 58 with a private pool. The largest, The Pearl Suite, measures 80 metres and sleeps five. There are also duplexes with a jacuzzi and rooms with a shared pool, with no size given, except the garden-view junior suite with a shared pool, which measures 35 metres and sleeps three adults.
If you would rather have a local show you round, book a guided tour in Protaras and choose by the reviews.
Location
From OpenStreetMap coordinates, it’s about 750 metres in a straight line from Fig Tree Bay. Right next door is the Vrissiana hotel, part of the Tsokkos group, and almost on Fig Tree Bay itself is the Capo Bay hotel. Further north, away from the bustle, you’ll find the Golden Coast hotel, facing Louma, and the Crystal Springs hotel.
My take
It appeals to me for families or groups who want lots of choice for dinner without driving and pools to spare. What I don’t like is not being able to give you its official rating; until you confirm it, I’d treat it as a hotel still to be checked. From the centre all the Protaras beaches are within reach.
