Five stars on Chloraka Avenue
Azia, Chloraka's five-star for sunsets
Azia Resort & Spa is a five-star hotel with 183 rooms and 366 beds on Chloraka Avenue, just north of Paphos, according to the official list of August 2026, which gives its rating as indicative. It faces west, has adults-only rooms and supplies its kitchens from its own farm.

- Five stars in Chloraka, with 183 rooms.
- Adults-only rooms and pool.
- Six restaurants and its own farm.
- Clubs for babies, children and teenagers.
I find it one of the Paphos five-stars with the most character, thanks to the farm and the food. For couples the adults-only rooms make it an easy recommendation; for families, its clubs by age work too.

Sunsets to the west
The hotel faces west, with gardens looking over Paphos Bay. It claims the best spot on the island for watching the sun go down.

where to stay in Cyprus
What I would book
Chloraka Avenue has its waterslide resorts, and it has one that goes its own way. Azia sells itself on calm, the natural materials in its rooms and a farm of its own that feeds the kitchens. Here’s its official listing, the facilities and the kind of traveller it suits. For the area as a whole, see Paphos hotels.
What the list records
On the official Paphos register for August it has five stars, 183 rooms and 366 beds on Chloraka Avenue. With a P against it, the rating stays provisional while the new hotel law is applied. It’s one of the twelve Paphos five-stars I bring together in luxury hotels in Cyprus.
Rooms and kitchen
The hotel says its rooms are built from natural materials, hemp, linen and local stone, in a simple contemporary design. For food there are six restaurants, a buffet and five à la carte, the Italian Cipro, Tree Deck for Cypriot meze, Oku for Asian cooking with a teppanyaki grill, Akamas Terrace for steak and seafood, and Coconut Terrace, a casual spot for ribs and wraps. There are seven places to drink, with bars, lounges, a snack bar and a stage area. The Morokambos farm, 530,000 square metres and 15,000 plants from citrus to avocados and mangoes, sends fresh produce every day.
To sleep close to everything, search places to stay in Azia Resort Paphos on Expedia and filter by area before price.
Adults on one side
Adults-only rooms give access to an infinity pool with hydro-massage, jet loungers and in-water seats, a lounge with afternoon tea and pre-dinner aperitifs, and reserved gardens. In the evening the Cava bar has adults-only live music from 21:00. Guests in those rooms, and in the Premium rooms, also get an extra continental breakfast in their lounge, a capsule coffee machine and local water, juice and beer topped up daily.
Children on the other
Families have a nursery from 6 months to two and a half years, a kids’ club up to 12 and a teens’ club for 12 to 18, with games consoles, table football and pool. Little ones have a baby pool beside the big lagoon pool, and under-12s pay half at the buffet and in the à la carte restaurants. The daytime programme runs from archery and aqua aerobics to water polo, tennis and volleyball, and some evenings there are free supervised nursery sessions, booked in advance.
If you are short on time, see the best tours in Pafos and pick one that fits your day.
My take
I see it for couples after a quiet five-star with good food, and for families who don’t need a waterpark. If they do, right next door is the Leonardo Laura Beach hotel, and a little further south the King Evelthon hotel, whose waterpark costs guests nothing. Head north to Coral Bay and the Coral Beach hotel offers a sandy beach. The Azia sits between two worlds, with Kato Paphos to the south for dinner and, to the north, the road through Peyia to the Akamas peninsula.
Where the bus does not go, a car does: compare car hire in Paphos before you arrive rather than at the desk.
To sleep close to everything, search places to stay in Azia Resort Paphos on Booking.com and filter by area before price.
