King Jason Paphos, class A apartments in Kato Paphos
King Jason Paphos appears on the official list of August 2026 as class A tourist apartments, with 77 units and 154 beds on Pentadaktylos Street, Paphos, and a confirmed licence. It's in the heart of Kato Paphos. Watch out, because there's another King Jason in Protaras with no connection to this one.

- Class A tourist apartments in Kato Paphos.
- 77 units with a confirmed licence.
- There's a second King Jason in Protaras.
For a couple or small family wanting a top-grade apartment in central Kato Paphos, it fits. What I can't give you is its facilities, because its website won't show them without starting a booking, so confirm them before paying.

01 My tip
There are two King Jasons
The Paphos one has 77 apartments; the Protaras one, on Syttarkas Street in Paralimni, has 88. Whichever you want, check the town on your booking.

Class A, not stars
Apartments are graded by letter and A is the highest. Only a small share of the Paphos complexes carry it.

What I would book
King Jason trips up plenty of people looking for somewhere to stay, because there are two with the same name at opposite ends of the island. This page is about the Paphos one. Here’s what the official register says, where it is and what I couldn’t verify, which in this case is quite a lot. For the rest of the town’s options, see Paphos hotels.
What the register says
The Deputy Ministry of Tourism’s Paphos list, dated August, records King Jason Paphos as class A tourist apartments, with 77 units and 154 beds on Pentadaktylos Street. It carries the L, so its grade is confirmed, which is less common than you’d think in a register full of provisional ratings. Apartments get letters rather than stars, and A is the top grade. Paphos has 33 apartment complexes and thirteen are class A, as I set out in apartments in Cyprus.
The other King Jason
The Paralimni list has a second property, The King Jason Protaras, also class A apartments, with 88 units and 176 beds at 17 Syttarkas Street. That one carries the P for classification in progress. If that coast appeals, it’s covered in Protaras hotels. When you book, check the town twice, because a search for plain King Jason can bring up either of them.
The same area has other class A apartments with a page here, such as the Narcissos apartments, out towards Cape Greco.
To sleep close to everything, search places to stay in King Jason Paphos on Expedia and filter by area before price.
Where it is
OpenStreetMap places it inland in Kato Paphos, less than 300 metres from Pagona Hotel Apartments. From there you can walk to the area’s restaurants and shops, and the harbour is a kilometre and a half away as the crow flies.
What I couldn’t check
Its website loads its content through a booking engine that won’t show the facilities without starting a reservation, and its page title presents it as a four-star plus hotel, a label that isn’t the register’s. I’m not giving you pools, breakfast or prices because I couldn’t read them from a reliable source. Ask directly before you pay. I’d get three things in writing, whether the apartment has a full kitchen or just a kitchenette, whether there’s a pool and in which months it opens, and whether reception is staffed at night, which matters for late arrivals from the airport.
If you are short on time, see the best tours in Pafos and pick one that fits your day.
My take
If you want a top-grade apartment in central Kato Paphos, it’s one of the few class A options with a confirmed licence, and that gives me some confidence, since the grade has been checked rather than simply declared. If you’d rather have a hotel with clear facilities, on the seafront there are the Annabelle hotel and the Athena Beach hotel, and for a big family complex, Aliathon Resort.
Where the bus does not go, a car does: compare car hire in Paphos before you arrive rather than at the desk.
To sleep close to everything, search places to stay in King Jason Paphos on Booking.com and filter by area before price.
