- Class A tourist apartments on the Paphos seafront.
- A spa with hammam, indoor pool and gym.
- Free transfer when you book on its website.
- Built in 2008, near the Tombs of the Kings.
I think it suits couples and small families who want the sea and a spa without the size of a big resort. If you book, do it on its own website, because that's the condition for the free airport transfer.

What I would keep in mind
-
01 To save money
Transfer included
Bookings made on the hotel's official website get a free transfer from Paphos airport, and another of its pages extends that to Larnaca.

The outdoor pool appears to tumble down towards the health club, where a heated indoor pool mirrors it. It's the hotel's signature view.

03 My tip
Watch out for the no-balcony room
One of its standard categories has no balcony. If you want a sea view from your room, choose a sea-view room or a suite.
Paphos hotels
What I would book
Between Paphos harbour and Coral Bay, on Tombs of the Kings Road, Capital Coast is something of an oddity. On the register it’s class A tourist apartments, yet it sells itself as an art hotel with a spa. Here’s how the two fit together, the facilities on offer and the guests it suits best. For other options in the area, see Paphos hotels.
Class A on the register
The Deputy Ministry of Tourism’s August Paphos list records it as class A tourist apartments, with 113 units and 382 beds at 69 Tombs of the Kings Road. Its class is provisional, marked P. Its website, on the other hand, lists 30 double rooms, 5 singles and 36 suites and junior suites, without saying whether they all have kitchens. If the difference between an apartment and a hotel matters to you, I explain it in apartments in Cyprus.
What it offers
The hotel says it was built in 2008 and that most rooms face the sea. The outdoor pool, the centrepiece, seems to cascade down towards the health club, where the heated indoor pool sits alongside a Finnish sauna, steam room, gym and aerobics studio. Next door is the Anemones Spa, with hammam, hot tub and massages. There’s an international restaurant on the ground floor looking out to sea, a lounge bar and a pool bar, evening entertainment, a floodlit tennis court and a children’s playground. Half board is available, and the website mentions water activities too, from scuba diving to boat hire and windsurfing.
To sleep close to everything, search places to stay in Capital Coast Resort Paphos on Expedia and filter by area before price.
The free transfer
Its best practical argument is that bookings made on its official website include a free transfer from Paphos airport. Another page on the same site extends the offer to Larnaca as well, so confirm when you book. To compare other ways of arriving, see airport transfers.
Around it
It’s near the Tombs of the Kings, and the hotel suggests a trip to the Pafos Bird and Animal Park, ten minutes’ drive away. On the same road are the Venus Beach hotel and the Elysium hotel, two five-stars, and a little closer to the harbour, Kefalos Beach, a village of self-catering apartments.
If you are short on time, see the best tours in Pafos and pick one that fits your day.
My take
I find it a balanced choice for couples and small families who want a spa, the sea and a manageable size. Since the register and the website don’t tell the same story, I’d ask before booking whether your room has a kitchen and a balcony. Standard rooms take two adults, or two adults and a child up to 12, while the suites are much roomier, decorated in earthy contemporary tones that the hotel links to its idea of living close to nature. Follow the Tombs of the Kings road south and you reach Kato Paphos; I cover the other coves nearby in Paphos beaches.
Where the bus does not go, a car does: compare car hire in Paphos before you arrive rather than at the desk.
To sleep close to everything, search places to stay in Capital Coast Resort Paphos on Booking.com and filter by area before price.
