Kanika's five-star in Kato Paphos
Olympic Lagoon Paphos, the all-inclusive on Poseidonos Avenue
Olympic Lagoon Paphos is a five-star hotel with 276 rooms at 48 Poseidonos Avenue, Kato Paphos, according to the official list of August 2026, which gives its rating as indicative. Kanika runs it on an all-inclusive basis, with an adults-only wing on one side and family facilities on the other.

- Five stars in Kato Paphos, with 276 rooms.
- Run on an all-inclusive basis.
- An adults-only wing and pool.
- Three clubs for children and teenagers.
If you're taking children and want a week without reaching for your wallet, it's one of the Paphos resorts that handles that best. As a couple, I'd only book inside its adults-only wing, or pick a smaller hotel.

01 My tip
Not the Ayia Napa one
Kanika runs a second Olympic Lagoon in Ayia Napa, with 295 rooms. Before paying, check your booking says Paphos and Poseidonos Avenue.

The Fisherman's suites form a hotel within the hotel for grown-ups, with their own Serenity Oasis pool, and some have a private plunge pool.

Properly all-inclusive
Six themed restaurants, five bars and branded drinks are in the price, according to the hotel. For a family that eats and drinks on site, it adds up.

04 Getting there
Close to the airport
Kato Paphos is the hotel strip nearest Paphos airport. With luggage and children, I'd pre-book a taxi before landing rather than hunt for a bus.

What I would book
The first thing to know about this hotel is that it has a twin. Kanika uses the Olympic Lagoon name for two resorts, one in Paphos and one in Ayia Napa, and booking sites mix them up easily. This page covers the Paphos one, on Poseidonos Avenue. To set it against its neighbours, see Paphos hotels.
The official entry
The Paphos accommodation list published by the tourism ministry in August gives it five stars, 276 rooms and 552 beds, at number 48 on the avenue. It carries the P mark, so the rating awaits the new classification and should be read as a guide. Paphos has twelve five-stars in all, and this is one of those right on the water, between the harbour and Geroskipou. For that category across the island, the full list is in luxury hotels in Cyprus.
A resort designed so you never leave
All-inclusive is the product here, not an add-on. According to its website, the price covers six themed restaurants, a buffet with live cooking and theme nights, daytime snacks and branded drinks in five bars. The hotel also promises every guest a guaranteed sunbed by the pool, a small thing you’ll appreciate in August. There are five pools, from the free-form Blue Lagoon to the Mayan Temple with two children’s slides, plus an indoor one heated from November to April.
Kanika also announces a full refurbishment in 2026, with all 276 rooms redone, a new lobby and a rebuilt Serenity Spa with indoor pool, sauna, steam room and gym.
If you are staying the night, see the best hotel deals in Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos for your dates: the well-placed rooms go fast.
Families on one side, couples on the other
The hotel is organised as two worlds. Children get three supervised clubs, Little Monsters for the youngest, a football academy and a teens’ club, plus nightly shows in its arena. Adults get their own wing, the Fisherman’s suites, with the Serenity Oasis pool, a swim-up bar, the You & Me bar and Garibaldi, an Italian restaurant you can only enter without children. Some of those suites come with a private plunge pool.
What I’d compare it with
On the same avenue, under a kilometre towards the harbour, is the Alexander the Great hotel, run by the same group but four-star and half board. For five stars without all-inclusive, look at the Annabelle hotel. And for a bigger family alternative to the east, in Geroskipou, there are the Athena Beach hotel and Aliathon Resort.
So you do not lose the morning at the ticket office, browse tickets and tours in Pafos on GetYourGuide.
My take
I think it’s good value for families with children of different ages, because each has a club and parents don’t have to go out hunting for dinner every night. For a couple, the adults-only wing makes it workable, though the overall feel is that of a big, lively resort. If you’re weighing up board options, I compare the other resorts in all-inclusive hotels in Cyprus. The drive from Paphos airport is short, and I cover the options in airport transfers. Being in Kato Paphos, you have Paphos Castle by the harbour and the mosaics of the Paphos Archaeological Park close by.
If you would rather go at your own pace, see the car hire deals in Paphos: the earlier you book, the more cars are left to choose from.
