Twiga Monte Carlo, dinner and a club on the same floor

Twiga is for anyone who wants a proper dinner, a bit of a show and a dance floor without calling a single taxi in between. In Monaco it’s in the Grimaldi Forum, looking out over the Larvotto seafront, and I think it’s the most complete big-spending night in the Principality. Here’s how it works, what it costs according to its own menus and which night I’d pick.

A restaurant that turns into a club at midnight

The venue leads two lives. Until midnight it’s Vesta, a Mediterranean restaurant with dishes from a Josper charcoal oven and views across Monaco. From Tuesday to Sunday it serves dinner from 20:00 to 0:00. After that it’s Twiga’s club, open until 5:00, playing international music, Afro rhythms and deep house, with guest DJs. On Mondays the whole place is shut.

There’s a small contradiction in the hours worth knowing about. The website’s table says the club opens at 0:00, the text on the same site says 0:30 and Visit Monaco says 23:30. If you’re only coming for the club, I’d arrive after midnight. If you’re eating, the problem disappears, because you’re already inside.

Visit Monaco puts the club’s capacity at 600. That helps you picture it, a big room rather than a warehouse, and the venue is run by LMDV Hospitality, the company behind the website.

What’s on Vesta’s menu

The July 2026 menu leans towards the sea and towards Italy. It opens with a raw bar, Gillardeau oysters, red and violet prawns, langoustines and Oscietra or Beluga caviar served with blinis, then moves on to sushi, uramaki and sashimi. After that come the pastas, from fusilloni Nerano-style to spaghetti with clams and paccheri with lobster, and fish and meat from the Josper grill.

To me it reads as a menu for sharing in the middle of the table rather than working through course by course, and the raw bar suits the views best. Twiga also has a partnership with AS Monaco, the Principality’s football club, which it announces on its own website.

The dinner show, the night I’d choose

On Fridays and Saturdays, from 22:00, dinner comes with live music. The website mentions Alessandro Ristori’s band and the Diamonds Dinner Show, and the listings for the weekend of 25 and 26 September 2026 had the Diamonds Dinner Show plus Joseph Capriati in the club on the Friday, then Alessandro Ristori & The Portofinos and Nomis on the Saturday.

If I were going to spend a whole night’s budget in Monaco, it would go here. Dinner with a show, a long table afterwards and then the club, all on the same floor of the Grimaldi Forum. It sits alongside the other treats I’d genuinely pay for in my guide to luxury experiences in Monaco.

How much does Twiga cost?

On this point Twiga is more open than many of its neighbours, because it posts its menus as PDFs. The 2026 cocktail list puts every classic, from an Old Fashioned to an Espresso Martini, at 30. A 33 cl beer, a 0.75 l bottle of water and soft drinks are all 15. On Vesta’s menu the seafood platter is 160 and the Plateau Royal, with king crab, 300. Neither PDF prints a currency symbol, but prices in Monaco are in euros.

I haven’t found published prices for club tables or for tickets on guest-DJ nights, which the website sells separately. My practical tip is to book dinner if you mean to stay, so the club finds you already seated.

Do you need to dress up?

Twiga’s website doesn’t set out a dress code or minimum age, nor does Visit Monaco, and I won’t give you one that isn’t written down. I’d dress as for the Casino at night, in long trousers and proper shoes, and carry photo ID. It’s the least trouble at any door in Monte-Carlo.

How it fits into your night

Twiga is in the Grimaldi Forum, on the same avenue Princesse Grace as the Sporting Monte-Carlo, so it pairs neatly with Jimmy’z, the Sporting’s nightclub, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. If you’d rather start closer to the Casino, you can have dinner at the Buddha-Bar and finish here. On the same avenue, at number 11, Sass Café in Monaco offers the old-school version, dinner with live musicians and a club afterwards.
